Technology Update

I decided to purchase a 'Pro' account at MediaFire so I could create direct links to the audio files that I want to promote and share with the readers of this blog. I feel that it is a small price to pay to spread the word of God to those that would desire to hear it.

I ran into a slight problem last night when I tried to download the first file in Chuck Missler's series on the Book of John from my MediaFire account, Instead of the download dialog popping up, I was redirected to the MediaFire home page and the URL came up 'Connection: Close'. This is not how it is supposed to work.

I checked other files in the series and they seem to be there. In short: I sent an email to the MediaFire help desk and reported the problem I was having. We'll see just how serious they take there customer support by the response time in which my email is responded to.

If you attempt to download a file and the same thing occurs for you, then please leave a comment about it to let me know. A temporary fix will be to post an alternate link to that file from the Firefighters For Christ servers. I will state again that the audio files that I am offering are free to download from the Firefighters For Christ MP3 download site and since I am not charging any fees to make them available then it is leagle for me to offer them to the readers of this blog.

If you are not familiar with the Firefighters For Christ, they are a not for profit organization that has for many years given away tapes and cd's of various speakers to further the spread of the Gospel. You can download their 2009 catalog in Adobe PDF format and print it from your computer to mail in to them. They are also offering a link to a page that lists all of the recordings available from their 2009 catalog.
